Ability to adjust paths in saved results files

One of our units has a process used in special circumstances whereby one person performs a search on a system, saves the results to a file, then hands the results file and hard drive from the system to another person for further review/quality assurance. The second person then adds the drive to a single purpose system as a secondary drive and opens the results file to review the results. The preview function doesn't work in these cases...the drive letters change when the drive moves from the once system to another.

Would it be possible/desirable to have the ability to adjust the paths in saved results? For example, perhaps results were found on drive C, but drive C is now drive D in the new system; if we could adjust the paths, perhaps we could replace C with D and again utilize the preview function.
