Velosecure Compliance Assessment Manager is based on templates for its ability to logically collect security information from a server and assess it against best practices.  Many companies will have their own policies so Velosecure CAM allows you to customize your own, if you do not want to use any of ours. The templates use an industry standard format for documenting the best practices (the Microsoft Security Configuration Editor *.INF compatible format).  

Download any of the following for free.  Just make sure they are named user.inf and place them in your Velosecure directory.  They are all easily editable so you may download any one as a starting point and tailor it for your needs.

Velosecure Compliance Assessment Manager template for:
Baseline Security Standards:  These are the default security standards developed by our team for most servers.  They provide a level of security most people typically assess against.

Velosecure Compliance Assessment Manager template for:
Generic Sarbanes-Oxley:  SOX does not typically mandate any specific security settings, only that you comply with your policies.  This template provides a generic security standard.

Velosecure Compliance Assessment Manager template for:
More Secure Environment:  For those looking to assess against a greater degree of security on their server, this template will help.  It is set for higher security standards than the baseline.
