I don't see any documentation on upgrading from an older version of the Enterprise Console to version 4.7.2.  I only see release notes on what bugs were fixed.  Do I just download the executable and hope for the best?

Which older versions of the console can or cannot be upgraded to 4.7.2?
Which versions of the client endpoints are or are not compatible with console 4.7.2?
Anything special required before upgrading such as backup up the database or turning off services?

For the console upgrade paths, please refer to the following KB article:
http://support.identityfinder.com/entries/193403

For client/console compatibility, entries are provided within the release notes when a corresponding console or client update is required for communication/interoperability.  If a console or client update is required to take advantage of a new feature, that is not generally noted.
