Our ID Finder is run central. I use WIndows 7 64 bit with IE8 fully patched. When working on the console in endpoints. Often the endpoint display blanks out. The refresh does not bring it back. The browser refresh does but it slows any work you are doing. While working in the console I'm not using compatibilty mode. I tried using my MAC with firefox and see the same issues. Are there any best practices with browsers to make the experience better? Are others seeing these issues?
I also notice when saving PDF reports to email nothing happens when I select save. If I toggle the email button on and off a few times it will then save and send.

It could be a Silverlight thing. I've occasionally sen weird things like that happen too, and closing the browser and reopening solves them. I use Firefox - was 3, now on 4. I guess make sure Silverlight is up to date? Perhaps clear the browser and Silverlight cache (if there is such a thing).

Hello - We are not aware of an issue that would cause this - but:
a) The IE cache commonly is not cleared from within IE itself and must be manually deleted. See step 1 in this KB article: http://www.identityfinder.com/kb/157774 b) If you visit this link from your browser, Microsoft will tell you if an updated version of SL is available (current as of this posting is 4.0.60129.0) http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight c) you can attempt to follow the other steps in the KB in step 1 such as restarting IIS - which may help as well |

Thanks. I will read the KB and check on silverlight. The server is not run in our department. I'm wondering if there might be an issues update needed on there end? I thiink they are at the latest console version.

I have manually cleared the cache as decribed. Silverlight is current. Still seeing console issues with window panes blanking out at times. Often I have to use the browser refresh to get the window pane to refresh.
Endpoint move are hit and miss. The other day I could not get a dialog up saying drop in. The next day it worked again but a very slow process.
