This feature is only available in Professional and Enterprise Editions.
When set, the Redact From Text File setting specifies what the default character will be used to replace personal information you decide to Redact. You can choose any digit 0 through 9 or X. You will still be able to override this setting when presented with the Redact dialog box during the secure function.
Note: You may only redact text files such as *.txt or *.log. If you would like to add additional extensions to be considered text, like *.bak, you may override default search filters so that those file types are treated as text. See the Override Default Search Filters help topic for more information. The Override Default Search Filters dialog box lets you add additional extensions assuming they are not already handled by Identity Finder as another file type.
