Websites

The Websites search feature is only available in Professional and Enterprise Editions.

 

 

You can enable searching of Websites by clicking the "Websites" button on the "Where to Search" ribbon.  When enabled, the button will be highlighted orange.  Identity Finder will search the website addresses that you specify.  To specify website addresses, click the Websites button dropdown menu, then select "Manage Website List".  The Website List Page of the Identity Finder Personal Information File dialog will appear:

 

 

To enter website addresses, simply type the location in the "Website Address:" field.  If you type a single word such as identityfinder, then "http://www." will be prepended and ".com" will be appended for your convenience.  If you are using Enterprise Edition, you may specify credentials.To do so, click the "Supply Credentials" checkbox and enter a Username and Password.  Then press the Add button.

 

There is no limit to how many websites you can search.  To configure options for searching websites, such as the link depth or whether to ignore external links, please see the Website Search Settings Page.
