Overview

Identity Finder is available for Windows 200 and later and intel-based Mac OS X 10.5 (and later) systems.  The software is available for download here, but valid license information is needed prior to usage.   The Windows and Mac software applications can be used in a limited, "Free" Edition for home, non-commercial purposes.

Windows Software

The Windows client software provides search capabilities on Windows systems, the user interface for remediation and, for enterprise users, a service to communicate with and send results to the console.  Based on the licensed edition and available features, the client also has the capability to remotely search files on Windows and non-Windows operating systems, to search databases via OLEDB and to search websites via HTTP and HTTPS.

Mac Software

The Mac client software provide search capabilities on Intel-based Mac OS X systems, the user interface for remediation and, for enterprise users, a service to communicate with and send results to the console.

Enterprise Console

The Identity Finder Enterprise Console is the aggregation point for search results, provides charting and reporting, establishes search policies, and schedules searches on the clients (endpoints).  For more information on the Enterprise Suite, please refer to the article:
