Identity Finder DLP offers next generation data loss prevention technology to manage the entire lifecycle of sensitive information. To accomplish this goal, add-on DLP Modules are used to search even deeper and cover additional devices in your organization. These modules are all agentless to reduce the impact on your IT department. You can now fine tune your search to more accurately and more intelligently search enterprise-class servers such as databases, websites, and mail servers. All Modules are add-ons for your existing Identity Finder DLP Endpoint for Windows and allow the remote searching of their respective locations. All searching can of course be fully managed and reported on by an optional DLP Console.
Identity Finder DLP OCR Image Search Module
The OCR Search Module takes the power of DLP Endpoint’s file search and extends it to images including images inside PDF files.
Using the most advanced Object Character Recognition (OCR) engine, Identity Finder can now search FAX images, PDF images, TIFs, JPGs,
and almost all other major image formats to accurately identify all sensitive information.
Identity Finder DLP Database Search Module
The Database Search Module takes the power of a DLP Endpoint and extends it to databases. Using an OLEDB
connection, administrators can now search table by table, column by column, and row by row until they
have accurately identified all sensitive information.
Identity Finder DLP Exchange Search Module
The Exchange Search Module contains advanced search features targeted toward e-mail administrators,
auditors, and IT personnel and has the ability to search and remediate e-mail messages and attachments
on Exchange mail servers.
Identity Finder DLP Website Search Module
The Website Search Module reduces the risk of data leakage exposure by finding sensitive information
on your internal and public facing websites. It allows Identity Finder DLP to crawl your intranet sites,
websites, document repositories, and internet sites while searching the contents of all web pages and
any files linked from those pages.
Identity Finder DLP SharePoint Search Module
The SharePoint Search Module is similar to the Website Search Module except it is tailored for searching
SharePoint. It crawls all pages, files, shared sites, calendars, contacts, and other SharePoint data
repositories searching all files and pages it encounters. You customize the search and can run it as
an administrator or user to see what sensitive information is unprotected against a guest, user, or power
user.
